Meet Our Judges!

Kiwi Ninamori is a passionate cosplayer and craftsmanship judge from North Carolina. She began cosplaying in 2008, earned a bachelor’s degree in Fashion Textiles, worked in teaching, and performed alterations for David’s Bridal. Her award-winning cosplays are known for their attention to detail, unique fabric choices, hand embroidery, and colorful beadwork. Within the cosplay community, Kiwi Ninamori strives to promote positivity and inclusion.

Sarelcon is a Columbia local craftsmanship competitor and judge who loves all things cosplay construction. From leatherwork to hand embroidery to organic texture work, she is always learning and incorporating new techniques into her projects.

Hi everyone! I’m CharlieSewsCosplays (Charlie)! I am over the moon excited to be your cosplay craftsmanship judge! I have been sewing and crafting cosplays for over 10 years now! I specialize in sewing & foam craft and have lots of experience wig styling, painting, patterning, crocheting/ knitting, carving, sculpting, embroidery, and more! I also have a background in theatre where I studied costuming, historical fashion, acting, dance, and theatrical performance. My favorite part about judging and participating in cosplay contests is getting to appreciate the passion and hard work that is put into each cosplay and performance!
